I'm sad to see you didn't make it to Santa Barbara! Such a romantic, gorgeous beach town. It's the ultimate couple retreat. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon there and it was straight out of a fairy tale. We stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Incredibly quaint and cozy, we really enjoyed ourselves and at the same time we also loved how budget friendly it was! This sounds like an incredibly romantic honeymoon.
