This feeling of bohemian creativity still exists today. Two years ago the 16th century apartments were renovated, keeping the original features but dividing the space into several light and roomy apartments.

Its location on Giudecca Island ensures a tranquil and serene environment, but San Marco is a mere 4 minute boat trip away so you won’t feel isolated. As well as the stunning views of Piazza San Marco across the shimmery waters, La Residenza is also surrounded by an exceptional three acre secluded garden and an outdoor meditation pool. Inside there are cosy working fireplaces in the reading room and wine bar, original Italian frescoes and terrazzo floors and a winter garden lobby which offers stunning views of the expansive gardens and city beyond.

Each apartment is well-equipped with all mod cons and everything you could possible need for a relaxing or adventurous getaway.
